Exhibition - Stolen Art

After a series of natural science exhibitions comes an unusual historical exhibition. From now until the end of March, you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of stolen, lost and found art treasures at the borrowing desk.

The Center for the Documentation of Property Transfers of Cultural Property of World War II Victims (www.cdmp.cz) deals with art alienated and confiscated during World War II. The Center conducts extensive research in archives in the Czech Republic and abroad to locate, document, and identify art objects taken from war victims by the Nazis. It is looking for art that remained in the Czech Republic as well as art that was taken abroad.
