Since October, it has been possible to synchronize data from the IS MU system with the ORCID service. The obligations regarding authors’ personal identifiers are defined by a new directive.
The workshop will be opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Doctoral Studies of Masaryk University, Prof. Šárka Pospíšilová. Afterwards, Open Science MU Manager Jiří Marek and the University's Open (FAIR) Data Specialist Michal Růžička will present a draft strategy for managing and making available MU research data. Data management at CEITEC MU will be presented by Adrián Rošinec and Tomáš Svoboda. This will be followed by existing examples of good practice, which will be presented by representatives of research infrastructures. Professor Luděk Matyska will present the impact of EOSC implementation in the Czech Republic on MU. This will be followed by a panel discussion on the topic of (sensitive) data storage.
