Masaryk University allows its authors to publish free of charge and without restrictions in Open Access mode with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). Free publication is possible in hybrid and fully open access journals (Gold Open Access). This allows authors to publish an unlimited number of articles without paying APC (article processing charge) from their own resources.
The corresponding author of the article must be from Masaryk University. The corresponding author must use institutional e-mail (muni.cz) when submitting the manuscript. In the e-mail notifying the acceptance of the article ("acceptance"), the author will receive a link to the system where he/she will choose the license of the article. The system should automatically recognize the "Gold Open Access" permission for free publication and offer this option to the author.
