This year marks exactly 20 years since the building of the Central Library of the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University was officially opened.
Over these two decades, it has become not just a place to study, but also to meet, create, and relax.

To celebrate this milestone, we have prepared an exhibition tracing the library's journey from the 1990s to the present day – complete with photographs, architectural plans, and personal memories.

The Library's Vision
The history is important for us, neverlethess we also do not forget look up to future. There we prepeared the vision of the library for coming years. We will published it November 21st too.
Modified Opening Hours on November 21st
Please note that on November 21st, the library will be open only until 12:00 PM. In the afternoon, there will be a gathering of former and current staff members and other individuals connected to the library's history.
