Results of a cost-benefit analysis of the implementation of persistent identifiers in the Czech Republic

Anotation: The theme of the third day of Open Science Week, entitled "Open Science and the Law: how not to get lost in the jungle?", is the relationship between the results of scientific research and the legal aspects of making them available, with an emphasis on software licensing and the commercialisation of scientific results. You will learn how to properly handle sensitive data in compliance with GDPR and other legal requirements from the perspective of scientist Adam Williamson (ICRC), ERC grant holder, as well as legal experts Michaela Daňková (BUT), Matej Búřil (MU) and others.
On 23 - 24 October 2023, two lectures will be held at MU as part of the international Open Science Week campaign on the topic of predatory journals.
